Blake Conrad is a 2021 C/1B with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from San Marcos, CA who attends San Marcos. Medium frame with a large build and stocky upper half. Ran a 7.85 second 60-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary catcher. Sets up in a side straddle stance to start. Quick in lower half when working out of the stance and gaining ground towards the bag. Receives out front and into exchanges. Compact release staying on line to the bag at 70 miles per hour and popping a 2.07. Righthanded hitter with an even and upright stance. Utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing. Swings the bat with intent creating barrel speed. Gets the bat head out and works middle of the field to pull side. Consistently produced low line drive contact with the ability to drive the ball to the gaps when elevated. Very good student as well.
