Thomas Besson is a 2021 LHP/1B/OF with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Key West, FL who attends Key West HS. Recorded a 7.39 60-yard dash time. Slender, projectable frame with a lot of room for additional strength. Primary lefthanded pitcher who only threw during the event. Short, side step delivery that is quick paced. Lands online toward the plate with a higher leg lift above the belt. Loose, whippy arm stroke with a more compact three-quarters arm slot. Fastball mostly straight and topped out at 78 mph. Short arm circle in the back and lands with good extension. Good control and command of the fastball with some balance to the release. Poised on the mound and mixed in a 1/7 shaped curveball. Will also flash a changeup and shows some feel for pitching to both sides of the plate. Good student.
