Gabriel Milakovich is a 2021 C/3B with a 5-5 135 lb. frame from Logan, NM who attends Logan. Compact frame with a lean build. Projects for additional strength with continued maturity. Primary catcher with with a narrow base while setting up to receive the baseball. Gains some ground while working out of crouch with deliberate footwork. Clean, loose glove circle and released from a lower three-quarters slot. Also worked out defensively from the infield showing solid range while working to the baseball. Funnels out front and worked through exchange with developing fluidity. Throws produced softer, accurate carry across the infield. Right handed hitter with an even stance and simple front side trigger. Employed a loose, extended path to contact with a line drive barrel plane. Looked to attack baseball out front and flashed the ability to work to all fields. Very good student.
