Nicholas Ungania is a 2022 OF/2B with a 5-8 140 lb. frame from Mineola, NY who attends Chaminade. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean, projectable build with room to fill throughout. Ran a 6.95 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, takes short steps approaching the ball, fields it out front, shorter stride through the ball and can incorporate additional lower half into release, ball comes out cleanly and shows carry on throws. Lefthanded hitter, begins with a slightly open and spread stance with a higher hand set at the plate. Quick hands and stays short to the ball, creates lift to pull side and shows carry coming off when squared. Creates separation in swing and repeats, solid line drive contact to all fields, occasionally gets to front side early. Very good student. Named to Fall Northeast Top Prospect List.
