Seth Coats is a 2021 SS/2B/3B with a 6-0 145 lb. frame from Kenly, NC who attends North Johnston. Taller and slender frame with long limbs that have plenty of room to bulk. Ran a 7.14 in the sixty yard dash. A primary infielder, times his approach well with balanced and smooth footwork. Methodical and consistent transfer and release with a good internal clock. A right-handed hitter, starts even with his base and uses a toe tap to gather and time the process. Pulls the hands in tight and stays behind the ball, pretty direct to the ball with a flat path to contact. Gamer type, that uses a middle of the field approach and upside as he physically matures. Very good student.
