Dawson Prickel is a 2020 3B/RHP/OF with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Eugene, OR who attends Sheldon HS. Medium frame with an athletic build. Primary third baseman with smooth paced, deliberate footwork while moving to the baseball. Funnels the baseball from a slightly deeper position and works through exchange quickly. Compact arm circle at separation and released from a three-quarters slot. Throws produced softer carry across the infield topping at 68 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with a even, balanced stance and simple front side trigger. Loose, extended path to contact. Barrel comes through the zone on a level, line drive plane. Primarily worked to the middle of the field and flashed best jump off the barrel when created separation at contact and working to the pull side gap. Tools will continue to develop with maturity and repetition. Very good student as well.
