Mason Crowson is a 2019 C/1B with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from Junction City, OR who attends Monroe HS. Big young body, high waist, lots of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, swings hard and creates some bat speed, can get long at times but showed the ability to pull his hands in and make adjustments to pitches, handles the barrel well and squared it up well in games, hits to all fields. High set behind the plate, stays balanced well, showed more raw arm strength throwing from his knees than from standard mechanics, can improve his footwork and foot quickness. Good student.
