Brendon Hoagland is a 2019 1B/OF with a 5-8 210 lb. frame from Flanders, NJ who attends Roxbury. Medium frame with broad shoulders and a solid build. Primary first baseman with clean footwork while working off the bag and centering the baseball. Reads hops well with clean glove actions while funneling. Worked through exchange efficiently and generated accurate carry across the infield. Left handed hitter with a spread, even stance. Works to contact with rotational lower half actions. Loose hand path to baseball with a line drive barrel plane through extension. Utilized a mid field approach but flashed the hand speed to turn the barrel and worked to the pull side gap as well.
