Johnny Cannavo is a 2020 1B/3B with a 6-2 165 lb. frame from Weymouth, MA who attends Weymouth. Large frame with slender, projectable build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.88 seconds. Hits from spread, even-baed stance, high hands and back elbow, toe tap trigger, shows balance to swing, sits down into back side, hands cock back, creates line drive plane, whole-field approach, shows most comfort working back through the middle. Worked out at 1st base, good hands out front, shows footwork both on and off of bag, solid balance, clocked up to 72 mph on throws. Good student.
