Nicholas Lee is a 2019 C/OF with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Nicholasville, KY who attends West Jessamine. Athletic build with beginnings of strength. Frame projects for additional strength. Ran a 7.14 sixty-yard dash. Primary catcher with a slightly taller, even stance while receiving the baseball. Gains ground while working out of crouch with clean footwork. Quick glove circle while working through exchange and released from a three-quarters slot. Throws generated accurate, on line carry to the bag topping at 72 miles per hour. Best workout pop time of 1.98. Also worked out defensively from the outfield showing smooth paced, deliberate footwork while closing to the baseball. Funnels out front and maintains momentum to the bag while working through exchange. Compact arm circle and released from a three-quarters slot, topped at 79 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with a crouched, even stance and simple front side trigger. Stays balanced and works to contact with rotational lower half actions. Loose hand path to baseball with a liner barrel plane through extension. Flashed some bat speed through extension with present strength. Employed a mid field approach and showed the jump off the barrel to split the gaps when squared.
