BJ Walker is a 2019 1B/3B with a 6-1 220 lb. frame from Kansas City, KS who attends Piper. Very strong and physical build. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a good linear shift into contact, upper body swing, can use his strong lower half more to help develop bat speed, short line drive swing, tends to cut his swing off out front costing him some lift and power, has the strength to drive the ball hard when he's squared up, mostly pull side contact, has the tools and strength to keep improving with adjustments. 7.71 runner, looked more comfortable and agile at first base rather than left side infield, fields the ball out front well and stays balanced, makes accurate soft throws. Good student.
