Bobby Moore is a 2018 2B/3B, SS with a 5-7 170 lb. frame from Redondo Beach, CA who attends Redondo Union. Medium frame with a lean, athletic build. Primary second baseman with smooth, athletic footwork while surrounding the baseball. Clean glove actions while funneling the baseball out front and flashed solid range to each side. Primarily released from a three-quarters slot but showed the ability to change arm slot while on the run and throw with accuracy. Right handed hitter with a tall, slightly open stance. Utilized a simple leg lift trigger and worked to contact with linear lower half actions. Direct path to contact with a level, line drive plane through extension. Turns top hand and barrel to contact creating a quick bat path through the zone. Primarily worked between the gaps with developing feel for the barrel. Good student.
