Jabari Dobbs is a 2022 OF/LHP/1B with a 5-11 145 lb. frame from Cedar Rapids, IA who attends George Washington HS. Slender body with some longer limbs. Primary outfielder showing some tentativeness when closing to the ball. Slower, smooth exchange into a lower three quarters arm slot. Arm strength is developing and showed some good accuracy with some softer carry to the bag. Left handed hitter with an upright and open stance. Starts with a high back elbow and uses a leg lift trigger for timing. Hands can drop some during load. Rotational lower half. Has a sweeping swing and really gets around the ball to the pull side. Showed good hand to eye coordination and consistently found the barrel. Has a slightly uphill barrel plane. Good student as well.
