2017 Mid-Atlantic Underclass Showcase
Nick Wilson is a 2021 OF/RHP with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Mont Vernon, NH who attends Souhegan Coop. Medium frame with slender, highly projectable build. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.64 seconds. Leg lift trigger when hitting, high back elbow set, inside-out hand path with line drive plane, some sweep to barrel direction, showed ability to make contact and went to all fields. Worked out in the outfield, moves to ball and does field cleanly, works into crow hop, arm strength up to 67 mph. Also pitched; hitched arm stroke up to high three quarters slot, upper-body delivery, fastball worked 59-62 mph with some cut, good control of pitch. Excellent student.
