Cross Kubik is a 2022 2B/RHP/IF with a 5-9 170 lb. frame from Springfield, MO who attends Kickapoo. Compact athletic build with some present strength. 7.77 runner in the sixty. Moves well with good footwork on defense in the middle infield, is well balanced and has good hands as a result, showed the ability to throw accurately from different arm slots, polished second base actions. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide base with a high hand load, reverse stride to start his swing, line drive swing plane that stays on plane for a long time, high contact approach, flashed the ability to turn on the ball with a bit of juice. Solid fundamental player who looks like he's played lots of baseball and takes the game seriously. Will keep improving as he gets stronger and faster. Excellent student.
