Keyon Guillory is a 2022 3B/RHP with a 6-0 200 lb. frame from Lake Charles, LA who attends Alfred M. Barbe. Big and strong build, looks both taller and stronger than listed. Graded out higher as a pitcher at this event than as a primary third baseman. Side step/leg lift delivery, lands somewhat open with his lead leg, arm works very well coming through with a loose and flexible wrist out front, low effort mechanics. Fastball topped out at 85 mph, gets plus run and sink at times. Showed some tightness and bight to his curveball. Still working on his mechanical consistency but is confident on the mound and competes. Fielded his position very well. Right handed hitter, hits from a tall stance with a hard dive to his front side, aggressive long swing, squared the ball up well in the games when he was better timed and can get some jump to the alleys. 7.87 runner, solid tools to develop at third base, arm has very nice carry across the diamond, hands are loose and pretty fast. Interesting athlete with some ceiling to him. Plays at a top HS program and should be able to get lots of solid fundamental grounding. Named to the National Underclass South Top Prospect List.
