2019 National Underclass Showcase-Main Event
Kyle Morse is a 2021 RHP/ with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Coral Springs, FL who attends Marjory Stoneman Douglas. Extra-Large frame with a lean, athletic build. Long limbs as he shows more room to fill out physically in the future. Primary Righthanded Pitcher, working only from the stretch as he shows a more deliberate, slow paced motion. Sits on his back leg well while generating power and then unloads. Low three-quarters arm slot to close to sidearm at times. Confident mound presence as he was out to compete and win. Solid three pitch mix. Fastball was up to 86 MPH with a ton of arm side run due to the arm slot. Mixed in a slurvy breaking ball that he landed for strikes. Best off-speed was a splitter that flashed late sink and he commanded it very well. Mid-70's split that he ran up on the hands of righthanded hitters. Pitchability showing with nothing but upside frame and tool wise. Outstanding Student. Named to National Underclass Main Event Top Prospect List.
