Tyler Heineman is a 2020 OF/RHP with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Rochester, IL who attends Rochester HS. Long athletic build, projects well physically, pitcher's build. Right handed hitter, hits from a narrow stance with a deep barred hand load, back foot is turned towards the pitcher, hips release early, lots of mismatched check points, swings hard and creates some separation and lift in his swing, shows some pop when he's on time, has the hitting tools to keep improving with adjustments. 7.32 runner, long and loose arm action in the outfield, young footwork through the ball. Also pitched, simple turn and throw mechanics, compact arm action front and back, works from the stretch. Steady upper 70's fastball, mostly straight with occasional tailing action, gets some spin on the curveball with some biting depth, threw strikes with both pitches.
