Manny Mendoza is a 2019 2B/RHP with a 5-11 168 lb. frame from Fort Myers, FL who attends Southwest Florida Christian Academy. Medium build, some lower half strength withplenty of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, high back elbow set up, short stride into contact, short line drive swing, limited lower half use, stays very linear to the ball and repeats his timing, up the middle high contact approach. 7.55 runner, has run 7.28 at PG showcases before, has athletic and balanced movements in the middle infield, fields the ball out front with soft hands, makes accurate throws with second base arm strength, best throws with his feet planted. Also pitched, short 3/4's arm slot from a side step delivery. Fastball was in the mid-70's with good control, soft curveball with occasional 11/5 depth. Good student.
