Seth Roggenkamp is a 2020 LHP/UT with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from O'Fallon, MO who attends De Smet Jesuit. Athletic build with present lower half strength. Ran a 7.39 second 60-yard dash. Left handed pitcher utilizes a side step into a slow paced delivery with late hard acceleration to the plate. Throws from a high three-quarter arm slot. Showed a fastball with good downhill plane topping out at 79 miles per hour complemented by a curve ball with sharp break when on time at 65 miles per hour and a change up at 65 miles per hour as well. Showed developing lower half mechanics tending to get off balance. Also worked out in the outfield. Flashed upright actions attacking the ball with aggressive actions working through the ball. Displayed the ability to get behind the ball while working to the ball. Showed good arm strength with online accuracy to the bases while topping out at 80 miles per hour from the outfield. Left handed hitter. Utilizes an upright even stance with a quick leg lift trigger and a flat bat path. Employs a gap to gap rotational approach with consistent opposite field contact and good hand speed. Excellent student.
