Bradley Mookini is a 2019 RHP/ with a 6-3 175 lb. frame from San Diego, CA who attends Olympian. Large from with long limbs and wiry strength. Projects for additional size with strength. Primary right handed pitcher who worked exclusively from the stretch. Utilized a small, simple leg lift while working to the plate with slight drop and drive actions. Lands in line with the plate and carrie momentum through finish. Compact arm circle at separation and released from a low three-quarters arm slot. Fastball had some downhill plane through the zone in the low to mid 70's, topped at 75 miles per hour. Curveball had 10/4 shape with loose spin and good sweeping to glove side in the upper 60's. Commands the zone very well utilizing all quadrants of the zone with both pitches. Frame and arm action projects for additional velocity with continued physical maturity. Also worked out defensively from the outfield showing smooth paced, clean footwork while closing to the baseball. Sound glove actions at pick up with efficient exchanges. Long arm circle at separation and released from a loose three-quarters arm slot generating some recoil at finish. Right handed hitter with a spread, eve stance and high back elbow set. Creates some front side coil at load and works to contact with rotational lower half actions. Loose, extended path to contact with a line drive plane. Flashed some lift at contact when working to contact out front. Primarily utilized a mid-field approach and flashed solid jump off the barrel when on time and squared. Very good student.
