Hector Millan Jr is a 2020 2B/SS with a 5-8 120 lb. frame from Chula Vista, CA who attends Otay Ranch. Compact frame with a lean build. Projects for additional strength with continued physical maturity. Primary second baseman with smooth, clean footwork while surrounding the baseball. Funnels out front with fluid glove actions and worked through exchange efficiently. Released from a three-quarters slot generating some recoil at finish. Throws produced on line carry to the bag topping at 74 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with an upright, slightly open stance and simple front side trigger. Shifts into contact with linear actions and employed a loose, extended hand path to contact. Level, line drive barrel plane through extension and looked to work the baseball to the middle of the field. Flashed the barrel feel to work to all fields and will continue to develop pop with physical maturity. Very good student as well.
