Jaidan Quinn is a 2020 1B/RHP/3B with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from Olathe, KS who attends Olathe West. Big and strong young build, looks bigger than listed. Graded out higher as a pitcher at this event. Throws from an over the top arm slot with big downhill angle on his pitches, will fall off occasionally to the first base side. Fastball topped out at 88 mph, was able to control his vertical angle well from his high slot and work down in the strike zone. Outstanding curveball spin and power, showed nasty late downer life at times, potential plus pitch. Left handed hitter, hits from an open stance with an exaggerated open back foot, has some bat speed and can get the ball to jump, pull side approach and looks to elevate the ball. 7.39 runner, showed good footwork at first base and really showed his arm strength well. Will be very interesting to see him develop over the next few years. Good student. Named to the National Indoor Showcase Top Prospect Team.
