Sebastian Rodriguez is a 2019 2B/RHP with a 5-8 140 lb. frame from Coral Springs, FL who attends Coral Springs Christian Academy. Rodriguez has a compact body with a lean build. On the infield he has developing footwork to and through the baseball with developing actions. Rodriguez showed some range to his glove side in the workout and has developing arm strength up to 72 MPH. At the plate he starts with a narrow base with a high hand set with a high back elbow. He uses a small inverted toe tap to start his swing and has a shorter path to the baseball. He showed an aggressive approach in game and looked to pull the baseball. He pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a short arm action. He gets some sink on his fastball and throws an 11/5 curveball with some shape. Good student.
