Carlos Vega is a 2021 RHP/3B, OF with a 6-1 162 lb. frame from Fort Pierce, FL who attends Lincoln Park Academy. Just pitched at this event. Right-handed pitcher, used a simple side step to clear and lift to the belt. Smooth operation, loads well onto the backside with full arm action through a high three-quarters slot. Worked down in the zone with the fastball up to 84 mph, generated consistent ground ball contact. Showed advanced feel for a low-70s downer breaking ball, mostly 12/6 shape with a ton of depth and good spin. Good student.
