Collin Richard is a 2020 SS/RHP/C with a 5-8 128 lb. frame from Welsh, LA who attends Welsh HS. Lean young build, lots of room and time to get stronger. Very good runner for his age, 6.89 in the sixty, quick actions in the infield with a good first step, fundamentally sound defensive actions, arm strength still developing but arm works well enough and he makes accurate throws. Right handed hitter, deep load with full separation in his swing, commits early and gets out front, long and loose swing with some lift out front. Also pitched, good mechanics with nice lower half use, high 3/4's arm slot, stays balanced and on line. Mid-60's fastball, throws it for strikes and stays down in the zone. Young athlete who has a chance. Good student.
