Daniel Kerrigan Jr is a 2022 C/OF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Valdosta, GA who attends Lowndes. Medium and lean frame with room to fill and time to do so. Ran a 7.85 second 60 yard dash. Primary catcher, sets up with a side saddle starting position and high hips, mechanically sound behind the plate with a quick transfer and a fluid arm stroke, projects well behind the plate with time to improve, will continue to add arm strength in due time, 2.00 second best pop time. Righthanded hitter, sets up at the plate with a spread out stance, uses a small leg lift trigger into contact, gets his front foot down early into swing while getting onto his front side at times, has an idea at the plate with a projectable swing and good barrel turn. Great student.
