Brian Rubenstein is a 2020 OF/MIF with a 5-7 125 lb. frame from Malibu, CA who attends Agoura. Rubenstein has a smaller frame with a lean build. Defensively he showed solid actions in the outfield with a smooth pace and clean footwork. He has clean transfers and release with developing arm strength up to 73 MPH. Rubenstein showed some carry on his throws and was accurate. At the plate Rubenstein starts with a square stance with a wide base. He has a deeper hand set and an arm bar. He glides to contact and has an inside path to contact with a line drive plane through extension. Rubenstein has a middle of the field to opposite field approach and squared the ball up well late in his BP round. He showed solid tools and skills all the way around and will really benefit from growth and strength gains. Excellent student.
