Mason Jones is a 2026 C/1B with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Smtithville, MO who attends Smithville. Medium size frame. Ran a 7.63 60-yard dash. Catcher with a wide base set up, gains ground with straight line footwork, efficiently quick feet, quick transfer and average arm strength with accuracy on throws down. Right-handed hitter hit from an even base, shorter compact swing, cuts the swing off on the finish, handled the barrel and showed ability to hit line drives using the whole field, developing hand speed and strength in the swing for more impact. Balanced blend of hit and power at the plate. Very good student.
