2025 PG National Showcase
Carson Ray is a 2026 SS with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Atlanta, GA who attends Woodward Academy. Lean live boded athletic build with some wiry strength. 6.62 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, has quick feet and big range, especially to his right, clean glove actions on the back hand, plenty of arm strength when he's behind the ball, has the actions and tools for the middle of the field. Right handed hitter, sets up in an upright narrow stance with a short hanging leg raise load, turns hard and creates some bat speed, stays on time well and lived on the barrel, hard pull side contact, still has plenty of offensive projection remaining. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
