Sachet Amin is a 2020 LHP/1B, OF with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Suwanee, GA who attends North Gwinnett. Medium frame with broad shoulders and a solid build. Primary left handed pitcher with a simple side step to high leg lift delivery. Creates some coil over back leg at gather and worked to the plate with tall and fall lower half actions. Clean, loose arm circle at take back and released from a three-quarters arm slot. Fastball generated occasional downhill plane to the bottom of the zone in the low to mid 70's, topped at 74 mph. Curveball flashed 12/6 shape with tighter spin and late depth when maintaining arm speed through extension. Also worked out defensively from first base showing smooth paced, deliberate footwork while surrounding the baseball. Funnels from a slightly deeper position and works through exchange well. Released from a three-quarters slot generating solid carry across the infield at 82 mph. Right handed hitter with an upright, slightly open stance and toe tap trigger. Created some lower half shift into contact with lower half. Loose hand path to baseball with a line drive barrel plane through extension. Looked to throw barrel with intent and work the baseball to the middle of the field. Excellent student.
