Tanner Wade is a 2021 LHP/OF/1B with a 5-9 140 lb. frame from Fayetteville, AR who attends Fayetteville HS. Slender young build, lots of room to get stronger. Sound and well balanced mechanics on the mound, high 3/4's arm slot. Low 70's fastball, topped out at 73 mph, mostly straight with occasional arm side run. Big breaking slow curveball. Nice change up with arm speed and nice fading action. Has confidence in all three pitches and throws them for strikes, knows how to pitch. Key in development will be getting bigger and stronger, has the pitches and the ability to use them. Left handed hitter, big leg kick trigger from a spread stance, gets his foot down on time and gets the barrel into the zone, pull to mid field contact. Showed good footwork and fundamentals in the outfield. Good student.
