Grant Downey is a 2023 OF/ with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Vestavia Hills, AL who attends Vestavia Hills. He ran a 7.10 second sixty. A primary outfielder with an average build. In the outfield he fields the ball off to the side transferring into a long arm action as he travels into the throw with developing arm speed and carry on the ball flight. Right-handed hitter, starts with an even base using small toe tap trigger to trigger the short swing path getting the hands to the inside part of the ball with some hard line drives to the middle of the field.
