Kade McBride is a 2021 2B/RHP with a 5-7 140 lb. frame from Sulphur, LA who attends Sulphur. Medium frame with square shoulders and an athletic build. Ran a 7.66 second 60-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary second baseman. Athletic movements with quick feet to and through the ball. Fields out front with soft hands into a clean funnel. Smoothness in transfers and a quick trigger with present carry across the diamond at 80 miles per hour. Righthanded hitter with an even stance to start and a leg lift trigger for timing. Hands stay tight throughout swing with rotational actions to contact. Creates some bat speed through the zone with middle of the field to opposite field gap contact. Secondary righthanded pitcher with a side step delivery to start. Compact action in the back with arm quickness into a high three-quarter release. Mostly straight on the fastball and able to keep it on the edges of the plate at 80 miles per hour. Solid secondary downward curveball with big shape to it. Very good student as well.
