Blake Balais is a 2021 2B/RHP with a 6-1 160 lb. frame from Bradenton, FL who attends Manatee HS. Tall and slender young build, projects well physically. Right handed hitter, hits from a balanced stance with good shift through contact, lots of pre-swing hand movement but has quick hands and gets them moving forward on time, aggressive hitter with a smooth, level swing, will hit to all fields, has the hitting skills to project with additional strength. 7.35 runner, young footwork and actions defensively, tends to wait back on the ball, fields it cleanly with soft hands, upper body throwing action. Good student.
