Drake Hasenstab is a 2020 C/1B with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Woodland Hills, CA who attends Agoura. Large frame with athletic present build; body projects well. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.97 seconds. Sets up to hit from spread-out, crouched stance with slightly open front hip. Does a good job shifting off of his backside and torquing his hips, swings the bat hard with good intent and clean hands through swing. Showed ability to square the ball up firmly to all fields; good looseness to swing. Worked out defensively behind the plate. Shows solid receiving skills; gains ground outward and has clean footwork. Solid arm strength with good carry to base; clocked up to 70 mph. Popped as low as 2.22 seconds. Very good student.
