Will Plattner is a 2022 C/1B, 3B, OF with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Chatham, IL who attends Glenwood. He ran a 7.45 second sixty. A primary catcher with a medium projectable frame. Behind the dish he showed a short arm action with a good release and accurate throws, works through he transfer under control with a good pace as his feet move well into the throw with a. 1.93 second pop time. On the infield he moved well to the left with good feel for the glove, foot work is still developing on the back hand but will come with repetition. Right-handed hitter, shows good plate presence with a solid approach, has good bat speed coming through the zone with a 92 mph exit velocity, has some pop to the middle of the field with whip in the barrel at contact as the bat works up hill through the hitting zone.
