Xavier Webb is a 2023 3B/MIF, OF, UT with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from Brooklyn, NY who attends Xaverian. Young, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean, projectable build with room to fill throughout. Ran a 7.29 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, fields the ball out front, young footwork will continue to develop, hands play at the ball well, moves well up the middle, worked on top of throws well and shows accuracy, arm strength projects with added strength. Righthanded hitter, begins with a high hand set and lower back elbow at the plate with a slightly open stance; short stride with a leg lift trigger moving into contact. Hands stay tight to body throughout but show looseness, longer finish through point of contact. Controls the barrel, contact oriented approach and can turn on the ball. Very good student.
