Taylor Goldstein is a 2024 C/1B, 3B with a 5-8 145 lb. frame from Atlanta, GA who attends Grady. Large and stocky frame with strength present. Ran an 8.71 second 60 yard dash. Primary catcher, took reps behind the dish with a narrow base and parallel crouch, receives the baseball out in front, has a long transfer into his throws, gets low with exchange before working back up to a 3/4 arm slot release, developing arm strength down to second base. Right-handed hitter, sets up at the plate with a slightly open stance and a high back elbow, takes a short stride into contact, shows a feel for the barrel with a rotational cut, stays on plane well with the barrel through the hitting zone, middle of the field approach. Good student.
