William Dammeier is a 2019 RHP/ with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Mercer Island, WA who attends Mercer Island. Medium frame with a strong, athletic build. Primary right handed pitcher who worked exclusively from the stretch. Works to a high leg lift and stays tall on back side at gather. Utilized lower half well while working to the plate with drop and drive actions. Clean arm circle at take back and released from a three-quarters slot. Worked over front side well at finish generating good downhill angle through the zone with a fastball that flashed heavy run to arm side in the mid 80's, topped at 88 miles per hour. Tends to slow arm speed with a curveball offering that had 11/5 shape with loose spin and occasional depth. Flashed better spin with depth when maintaining arm speed with breaking ball. Primarily looked to attack hitters early in counts with fastball and flashed the ability to locate to each edge of the plate. Very good student. Named to the 2017 West Academic Showcase Top Prospect List.
