DJ Burrage is a 2021 2B/OF with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Highlands Ranch, CO who attends Valor Christian. Slender build with room to fill out. Ran a 7.45 second sixty-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary infielder. Showed the ability to work around and through the ball with athletic actions. Flashed good range to both sides including clean backhand actions. Displayed good arm strength with accurate carry to first base topping out at 75 miles per hour across the diamond. Right handed hitter. Employs a even stance with a small leg lift trigger. Utilizes a line drive plane with fast hands creating good bat speed. Uses a line drive to the middle and pull side of the field approach with good barrel control creating consistent driven line drives throughout batting practice. Showed the ability to turn the barrel in games with a loud double to left center field. Great student.
