Jordan Robinson is a 2021 3B/C with a 5-10 131 lb. frame from Derry, NH who attends Pinkerton Academy. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and a long and lean, projectable build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.89 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, fields the ball out front and takes short steps moving towards the ball, hands work at the ball and shows a quick transfer out of glove, extra step prior to release with a lower arm slot across the diamond, arm strength will continue to develop. Also pitched, gets tall on back side with high leg lift up above belt and slight curl at top of delivery, full arm action through the back side with some whip at release. Strides on line and releases the ball out front, short sink up to 67 mph and pitched to contact with a long stride down the mound. Righthanded hitter, begins with an even stance and a medium hand set with a lower back elbow. Loads hand deep at start of swing, does a nice job of staying short to the ball with a full finish through the zone. Works the middle and pull side parts of the field with a line drive swing plane, projects with additional physical strength. Occasionally gets mistimed with swing, creates line drive contact off the barrel when squared. Very good student.
