Ben Metzner is a 2019 OF/ with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from New York, NY who attends Horace Mann. Medium frame with compact, athletic build; good strength at present. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.00 seconds. Sets up to hit from open stance, handsy swing with smoothness to barrel, slashing path with quality bat speed, whole-field approach, executes that approach well, found barrel on the ground and on a line to all fields. Worked out in the outfield, quick twitch actions, gets around the ball well and fields cleanly out front, works through and shows off very good arm strength, clocked up to 86 mph on throws. Named to 2017 Mid-Atlantic Underclass Top Prospect List; very good student.
