Clark Klitenic is a 2019 LHP/1B, OF with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Bethesda, MD who attends St. Albans School. Medium, athletic frame with broad shoulders and presents strength proportioned well throughout frame. Primary lefthanded pitcher, simple side step moving into a high leg lift up past belt; works quickly and implements lower half very well into drive down the mound. Full and loose arm action through the zone working to a high three-quarters release point, worked on top of ball and produced velocity with lower effort. Fastball topped out at 88 mph, worked mostly arm side and showed nice riding life when on top. Curveball flashed sharpness at 68 mph, slider was a tighter pitch with tilt up to 72 mph. Flashed a changeup at 74 mph and mixed well while filling the zone and missing barrels. Named to Northeast Indoor Top Prospect List. Very good student. Verbal commitment to Duke.
