Garrett Taylor is a 2024 RHP/SS, MIF, IF with a 5-8 145 lb. frame from Monroe, LA who attends St. Frederick HS. Recorded a 7.50 second 60-yard dash time. Medium frame with a projectable build and room to add size and strength. Primary righthanded pitcher with a three-quarters arm slot and generates good arm side run on the fastball that topped out at 81 mph. Throws the fastball to both sides and can jam hitters inside. Good mound presence with a quick delivery and strong tempo. Quick arm stroke and hides the ball, good feel for the slider. A lot of weak contact generated. Arm strength plays from secondary position of shortstop. Righthanded hitter with a slightly open stance, upright base, and showed some hand quickness. Downward swing plane and shows some looseness to the stroke. Tremendous student.
