Zaki Alaoui is a 2020 SS/2B with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Milton, MA who attends Milton Academy. Medium frame with slender, athletic present build; body projects well moving forward. Ran 60 yard dash in 8.01 seconds. Sets to hit with very high hand set, smaller leg lift trigger, takes direct downhill path to the ball with hands, incomplete incorporation of lower half. Shows solid contact skill with approach to all fields; flashes ability to hit liners. Worked out in the infield, shows range to both sides with developing fielding actions, shows good balance through crow hop, arm strength across the diamond clocked up to 66 mph. Good student.
