Spencer Perry is a 2019 OF/SS with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Thousand Oaks, CA who attends Thousand Oaks. Large frame with long limbs and wiry strength. Ran a 7.28 sixty-yard dash. Primary outfielder with athletic actions while closing to the baseball. Works through baseball well with clean glove actions and exchanges. Released from a compact arm slot generating on line carry to the bag topping at 80 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with an upright, even stance and simple leg lift trigger. Hands load to a deeper position and lower half works to contact with rotational actions. Loose path to contact with a level, line drive barrel plane through extension. Looks to turn top hand at contact to create barrel turn through extension. Flashed solid bat speed while maintaining balanced throughout swing and utilized a gap to gap approach. Good student as well.
