Trevor Ferris is a 2024 1B/RHP, 3B with a 6-4 225 lb. frame from Franklin, TN who attends Homeschool. Large frame with strong, physical build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.71 seconds. Graded out best on the mound in this event, high slot release with good angle to the plate, arm stroke occasionally gets long and loses timing over front side, fastball worked 82-86 mph with low spin and heavy sinking life to the arm side, showed curveball with 11/5 shape and feel to spin it, will blend more slider look at times, showed changeup as well. Hits from crouched, spread stance with high tight hands and back elbow, small toe tap trigger, length to stroke on flatter plane, could shift into contact more, tends to get onto front side. Worked out at 1st base, solid footwork and awareness for position, quick release with solid arm strength, clocked up to 80 mph on throws. Very good student, named to 2022 Main Event Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
