Frank Pena is a 2023 2B/3B, SS with a 5-11 183 lb. frame from Fort Lauderdale, FL who attends American Heritage. He ran a 8.07 second sixty. A primary infielder with a medium build. On the infield he showed good feel for the glove with developing range, the arm strength is young and should continue to get better as he matures. Right-handed hitter, starts with a balanced base, the swing is timed up with a big leg lift trigger as the upper half stays calm though the load, he showed good feel for the barrel with loose wrist and some whip in the hands as the bat head comes through, does a nice job getting the head out front at contact and using both gaps with effectiveness. Good student.
