Louie Rossner is a 2018 2B with a 5-7 150 lb. frame from Delran, NJ who attends Delran High School. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean, projectable build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 5.29 40-yard dash. Primary middle infielder, moves well on feet and shows range to either side with longs strides, works through the backhand, glove plays out front at the ball, gets on top of throws and repeats actions well while working behind the ball, shows accuracy across the diamond. Righthanded hitter, begins with a slightly open stance with a medium hand set in the box. Upper body dominant swing, pulls hands back at start and shows a full path through the zone, shows a consistent feel for the barrel at point of contact. Contact oriented approach and able to execute, line drive swing plane and projects with additional lower half incorporated. Very good student.
